Gettymops Re-Loved Range

This idea was inspired by an afternoon spent sorting through the clothes that my boys have grown out of. I passed on a good few to friends or charity, and some I have kept to pass on to them when they have their own children, but there were one or two items which had special meaning to me: the sleepsuit my eldest came home from hospital in, the jumper knitted for my youngest which is so stained on the front I can do nothing with it. What to do with these?

The Re-Loved Range takes these odd items and transforms them into a unique keepsake. Something to hang on a wall or door, or a doorstop in your child's bedroom. I use your child's too-small clothes to make the full range of accessories in the Gettymops Collections, together with Letter Bunting, Large Applique Letters, or even a Wall hanging. In most cases I have to add some of my own fabrics to compliment pieces that I cut from yours, but I always consult with you to ensure that they are a perfect addition to your home.

The picture on this page is an example of a doorstop that I have made from sleepsuits, this time I have simply used existing applique work on the sleepsuit itself.
